Bullying and Harassment Policy

1. Policy Statement

Barr Promotions & Marketing Ltd is committed to providing a working environment that is free from bullying and harassment and where everyone is treated with dignity and respect.

Bullying or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

2. Definition

Bullying and harassment may include, but is not limited to:

  • Offensive, intimidating, or insulting behaviour
  • Verbal, physical, or non-verbal conduct
  • Unwanted comments, jokes, or gestures
  • Abuse of authority or position

This applies whether behaviour is directed at colleagues, contractors, clients, or members of the public.

3. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Employees
  • Independent contractors
  • Work-related activities, including field-based work and events

4. Reporting Procedure

Any individual who believes they are experiencing bullying or harassment is encouraged to report it promptly to:

  • A manager or team leader, or
  • The Director

Reports will be treated seriously, confidentially, and investigated appropriately.

5. Outcome

Where bullying or harassment is confirmed, appropriate action will be taken, which may include disciplinary measures or termination of engagement.
